Will Do

Many jobs are beneath some people to tackle. Some say they have no resources and never accomplish anything. If you have time, energy, and ingenuity, you have resources. Have you ever delivered newspapers for a living? That’s income. Have you ever thought of buying two used bicycles; one to ride and one to rent. That;s income. Be clever with your resources. You could have profit and fulfil your dreams of helping others in need. Will you accomplish what others can’t because you are willing to do what others won’t?

Robin Williams Reflection – What is happiness?

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

A few weeks back, while chilling with a friend I watched one of Beyonce’s recent music video called ‘Pretty Gurls’ and while there is a surprisingly positive message in the video, I was caught by just one line. “What is your aspiration in life?” asked the man,

Queen B stood at a loss for words as she uttered “thats a great question, what is my aspiration in live? To be happy!” she replied.

It was expected of her, It was and would be her only answer! Why? Everyone in life wants to be happy, from the poverty stricken Africans to the filthy rich publicised entertainers.

Robin Williams tragically took his own life yesterday, a man renowned over the past decade for his sheer ability in bringing laughter, enlightenment and happiness to millions around the globe. A man lavished with praised from the world governing leaders. A man inexhaustible with the most luxurious lifestyle one can ever dream of , yet still, he battled with depression daily.

“I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone, it’s not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people that makes you feel all alone” he once declared.

So what is happiness?

An even Greater soul gave his opinion, “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.” – Mahatma Gandhi

When our secret thinking, saying and doing have at their epicentre two elements, then harmony and happiness can never fail to result. What are those two elements upon which all of life thrives? It is so simple that many mis out. Love and Gratitude! All things thrive on love and gratitude. Don’t miss out! You can Too! #SpreadtheLove #SpreadtheHappiness

A Message to the Weak!

As I sit here on a bleak, cloudy day in East Trinidad, I dare to even to ponder on my life. How selfish would that be? However, in cold, hard reality the daunting aspect to think about the hurting, the pained, the grieving, the helpless, the poor, the emotionally distressed seems unbearable. How most of us in Trinidad and Tobago would selfishly, condemn mother nature for providing us with water, many would complain about how hard and unfair life is because they didn’t want to work for any money, individuals worry about their planet-size issues and to think there are some that are unaware of what is happening is absurd, but sadly there are.

Love for humanity is on an all-time low, and it appals me not if one is to think that I am bold or controversial for making such a statement. It is True! It is unfathomable that there are homo sapiens who turn a blind eye to such chaos, but will sit in groups and debate comical politics , drink a beer and talk about sex. Nonetheless it pains my heart to Know that hundreds have died in a senseless war, almost – if not – a thousand have died from a rampaging disease, hurricanes are roaring to destruction and havoc and us the so-called privileged ones hopeless in everything! One would be forgiven to think that this message was for those in Israel,Palestine Or even the disease contagious countries, but no, this is for us, they are the strong, we are the weak, the hopeless and dying.

H. Jackson Brown once wrote “In the confrontation between the stream and the rock, the stream always wins…Not through strength but by perseverance.” To those that is weak, strength is not what is necessarily needed but perseverance, compassion, courage and most of all love for humanity.
